The BlackFox Kravi by Boker features a dramatic recurve blade with a swedged trailing point, looking like a predator ready to strike.
The 2.75" 440C blade is actuated by a flipper mechanism and is held open with a locking liner. The 420J2B stainless pocket clip slightly echoes the blade shape and is set up for tip-up carry on the right side. The black finished blade is stonewashed for dramatic effect and aids in corrosion resistance.
With a closed length of 3.75", the Kravi is compact and aggressive. Geometric handle scales are constructed of textured black G10 for traction. A thumb ramp with jimping and the finger guard formed by the flipper also aid in the grip department.
440C Stainless Steel
While it was still a high-end steel several decades ago, 440 is a very decent middle-grade steel today. Many users still see it as the perfect "magical trifecta" of edge retention, corrosion resistance, and easy sharpening.
